About

HEY THERE!
My artist name is Jenivieve. I am married to the love of my life, and I live in Oregon where I enjoy hiking all over the inspirational Pacific Northwest when my fibromyalgia permits me. I'm always looking for ways to combine my favorite mediums. My love for miniature art, cats, nature, and sparkles have been the constant and recurrent themes in my creative life.
My Galaxy Cat ACEOS
I am best known for my Galaxy Cats ACEO Series. I started creating the first collection in this series in April 2025, when I realized every cat rolling on the ground looked like they could be weightlessly drifting in space. Series 1 featured 23 unique galaxy cat poses. I traded a few of them, posted them everywhere online, and finally put the rest of the series on my eBay shop in January 2026. They were completely sold out within one month.
But good news: Series 2 is coming in March 2026!
A little secret:
Every Galaxy Cat is created with high-quality UV-reactive watercolor pigments that glow under a blacklight.
My Galaxy Cats ACEO series has recently inspired many other ACEO and ATC artists to draw their own weightless cats in space, and it delights me to watch this subject become a trend.
What are ATCs/ACEOS?
IArt Card Editions and Originals (ACEOs) and Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are miature 2.5" x 3.5" works of art (baseball card size) and collectible to the point of being addictive.
The primary differences between the various art card types are:
- ATCs are traded,
- ACEOs are sold, and
- Sketch Cards could be either one - but are most often sold to trading card publishers for distribution in blister packs.
My artistic mission
I spread the joy of creating and collecting artist trading cards by cultivating platforms that feature and celebrate ATC artists who bring creativity, innovation, and dignity to this cool little format:
- I mod for a blossoming ATC Reddit trading community,
- I also mod a new pokemon-themed art card Reddit community,
- I write a Substack that features amazing ATC artists, and
- BlueSky has a hoppin' ATC feed, too!
Reasons I love the ACEO/ATC format
- When you hold an ACEO or ATC, it feels like you are holding a little treasure ♥︎
- They are affordable (or even tradeable), and make it possible for me to own original art from some of my favorite artists (even those whose larger works are outside of my budget).
- They take up hardly any space - I keep mine in a 3-ring binder using baseball card protector sheets.
- They satisfy my completionist's need to finish my art and admire it.
